Last week, the RCMP arrested six people for obstruction on Wet’suwet’en territory. They then threatened to arrest the journalists who were there covering the ongoing conflict between protestors and police. In response, the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) stated “we remind the BC RCMP that Canada is not a police state.
